Hello developer of Document.Editor,

I installed Document.Editor 2015.5 at my pc (Windows Vista Home Basic, 32-bit, SP2).
Document.Editor crashes:
  • when mouse-clicking on the (blue) [FILE] icon, top left,
  • when clicking on the Options cogwheels icon, top right.
It did the same, some months ago (earlier version than 2015.5?).

Starting Document.Editor as "administrator" (meaning, not my limited Windows account), lets me open the start menu by clicking [FILE] without any problem.
As regular/limited user, a line in the appearing window says: "System.UnauthorizedAccess", so that made me try starting it as administrator, which doesn't give the crash.

However, clicking the Options icon, still makes Document.Editor crash. One line in the crash text in the small window that appears, says: "System.ArgumentOutOfRange". No idea what that means.

Hey, Macleod1700

Thanks for the heads up, I can confirm the crash from clicking on the file menu due to a lack of administrator privileges (I'll look into it and try to find a fix).

As for the Options crash, I can't get it to reproduce. But I have a feeling it also has to do with lack of administrator privileges and having a previous version of Document.Editor.

I'll update once I find a fix.

Thanks. - Primo360
